The Santa Cruz Breakers is a fictional soccer team I initially created in the PS3 PES 2009 created for Pro Evolution Soccer Series by Konami. The team and logo is based on a local soccer team in Santa Cruz, CA. Go Breakers!

Breakers Escape with 3-2 Win!
The early goal and late goal is the difference as the Breakers squeak by with a win! The goal in the 3' and 88' shows how hard of a match this was with the Breakers defense falling apart in the middle of the match.

Stunning Goal for the Lead!
Chow kept fighting as 3 defender tugged and pushed and with less than a step ahead he was able to barely get a shot off and beautifully just over the keeper! Absolutely brilliant! 2-1 Breakers lead!

Second Half of the Season Set to Begin
The Breakers Manager has come out with a bold statement that he believes his squad will finish in the Top 3 if not #1. The good news for fans of the Breakers is that the Breakers will have 11 home games in this stretch compared to only 7 in the first half of the season.
The breakers are 6-1-0 at home and have out scored opponents 19-5. Their road record is horrible with only 2 road wins! Although the Breakers scored 18 on the road they gave up 19.
Good luck to the Breakers!!

Midseason
The Breakers came on solid for a stretch and dominate at home. Unfortunately their tie for first with Capitola was quick swept away with two road losses where the Breakers were out scored 5-1.
Capitola has a commanding first place lead with a 10-4-3 record 6 points ahead. The Breakers find themselves in a bitter tie with both teams from Hawaii with 8-4-5 records. The second place contenders are really in the middle of the pack as 11 teams find themselves with 24 points or more!
