The Santa Cruz Breakers is a fictional soccer team I initially created in the PS3 PES 2009 created for Pro Evolution Soccer Series by Konami. The team and logo is based on a local soccer team in Santa Cruz, CA. Go Breakers!
** This blog is not affiliated with the real Santa Cruz Breakers and has been created to make the Pro Evolution Soccer game more realistic **

Breakers lose on controversial call!
Another tough loss as breakers lose to Crystal Palace! Fans dismayed and expected better play! The only goal was due to a controversial call in the box!

Brutish Play by Breakers Leads No Where!
The Breakers frustration was apparent throughout the entire match against Arsenel! The Breakers went down hard losing 2-0 with no offense with only two shots on goal the entire match.
The Breakers took out their dismay with rough play leading to 12 tackes, two red cards, and three yellow.
During the match the announcers called it one of the "worst" matches they had seen by a team they had ever seen... We hope "no one gets injured" as the play was downright dirty.
The Breakers manager stated that his club was clearly frustrated and that a couple of yellow cards were unnecessary that led to even more frustration and anger by the players.
Here's hoping for a better outing in the future!

Breakers Shock Manchester United! 2-2 draw!
The Breakers shocked the entire football community by scoring a draw against Manchester United! No one believed the Breakers would hace a chance against the heavily favored powerhouse... The breakers scored first which surprised everyone even the home crowd.
The breakers held a 1-0 lead into the half. Miraculously the breakers completed 80% of their passes and dominated the pitch with 71% procession! Manchester United came back strong in the second half as they scored their first goal early in the second. With the game tied 1-1 Manchester became the dominant team... Their second score can quick and led 2-1!
The Breakers didn't lose hope as they kept their cool and came back with a goal by Nam to tie the match up! The Breakers seemed content to end with a draw and get their first point of the season against a much stronger opponent!
Overall the Breakers played extremely well with completing 80% of their passes and 62% procession!
The fans have high hope for their team with their outstanding play!!!

Breakers Home Opener vs Queens Park Rangers
The fans came out in full force hoping that the Breakers could beat the Rangers! Unfortunately the Rangers dominated the game only allowing the breakers 2 shots with only one challenging the keeper. The Breakers challenge began with the procession of the ball at 40% although their passing accuracy was relatively high at 79%.
The Rangers on the other hand 90% passing accuracy, 10 interceptions, and 12 shots with 6 on target.
The fans left disappointed as their team didn't put up much of a fight!
The next match against Manchester United should be exciting but of great concern as the Breakers will face a much more challenging opponent with one of the best teams in the world!

Breakers with Fantastic Comeback!
The Breakers only exhibition match was against Apoel FC before their grueling season ahead! The breakers initially trailed early 2-0 but miraculously came back with Chow scoring 3 unanswered goals. The breakers ended up leading 4-2 before the Keeper Desi gave up a corner kick goal at the 90'. Final score 4-3 Breakers!
The breakers should feel confident about their ability to overcome what initially was a total domination on both sides of the pitch. Their tenacity to fight on allowed their leaders to find ways to score!
Chow looks prepared for the challenging season ahead with everyone predicting the Breakers to be close to last in the division. Being severe underdogs in their inaugural season is not surprising but I for one think the Breakers will finish closer to the middle of the pack with their team spirit and drive!
The season is days away and the fans can't wait!

The Breakers are back in action!!!
After a couple years off, the team is back and ready for action. This year the Santa Cruz Breakers have been invited to join the Barclay's Premier League (replacing Burnley)and will leave the Coastal Premier League.
Note: Initially I will play this season with the Breakers in the Premier League as I haven't been able to find an option file that includes MLS and I don't have time to create my fictional Coastal Premier League. If I come across another option file that includes the MLS league I may choose to begin again.
I am playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 on a PS3.
The Master League season begins soon!
