The Beakers came off a terrible offensive showing with only two shots on goal in their last match against FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.
The next match for the Breakers had them face Willem II. Willem II is a Dutch football club playing in Tilburg. The club was founded as Tilburgia on August 12, 1896. On January 12, 1898, the club was renamed Willem II, after Dutch king Willem II (1840-1849), who, as Prince of Orange and commander of the Dutch army, had his military headquarters in Tilburg during the Belgian uprising of 1830.
The Breakers came out strong against Willem II on both sides of the ball.
Neither team was able to score until Willem II shot one past the keeper at the 45+'. This goal seemed a bit reminiscent as the one in the last match with this time Lai (8) unfortunately interfered with Desi (5) the Keeper leading to the first score of the match. The Breakers halftime was a bit somber since it's tough to give up a late goal right before the half.
However, the Breakers remained confident and came out in the second half with a couple offensive possibilities that unfortunately led to no goals.
Willem II found their second goal at the 78'. The game ended with a 2-0 win for Willem II.
The Breakers offense came alive with at least 7 shots on goal, however Willem II had 9 shots on goal and all 9 were also on target. Impressive to say the least!
The Breakers have not been able to find a win this season after the first 5 matches and now have an 0-2-3 record!
