Breakers Played Well But Find Themselves 0-2 in the Master League

Although the Breakers played well, they ended up losing 2-1. One controversial play that appeared to have been Chow's second goal was denied and play continued as a Malibu defender supposedly stopped the ball as it was crossing the plane. The ball bounced of the lower left corner and rolled toward the middle on the line.

The Breakers coach hollered to no avail as the officials allowed play to continue.

Moments later Malibu scored on a corner kick header.

Breakers are disappointed with the 0-2 start. Breakers play their first home match against the 2-0 Santa Barbara squad who has not given up a goal yet!
